Craig Francis to Stage Manage GASLIGHT August '26 and January '27
Craig is thrilled to be stage managing the psychological thriller GASLIGHT for director Marie Farsi at the Capitol Theatre in Port Hope, Ontario, as well as Prairie Theatre Exchange in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Bella is a young woman who has everything she could want: a loving and supportive husband, a beautiful house and servants to look after her. But in the evenings, she hears strange sounds, and the gas lights dim for no apparent reason. Is she losing her grip on reality, or is it being loosened for her?
This Canadian adaptation of Patrick Hamilton’s iconic 1938 play, by Canadian playwrights Johnna Wright and Patty Jamieson, reimagines the classic thriller with the question: will Bella be able to find the strength — and cunning — to save herself?
